Glad to see things are moving for you again after your earlier post [1] about postponing the build until next year. Am I right in thinking that you've bought (or are in the process of buying) the Chenogne plot but that any building will have to wait until you've sold your property in Holland?

My observation in the UK is that the housing market is coming back to life or at least that the estate agents think it's worthwhile to be out trying to look busy. The house opposite mine has a for-sale sign up and I'll be interested to see what happens with it.

"Anyway, I would like to know if you are interested in following my progress in finding out more about the do’s and don’ts of building a house yourself."

Absolutely.
